2025 Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series Champion
The 2022 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) champion & 2025 Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series champion, Jonathan McKennedy is no stranger to winning races and championships. In his first of two NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour full-time seasons, McKennedy picked up his first career win, and finished second in the point standings. In just his second full-time season, McKennedy hoisted the Whelen Modified Tour championship in 2022. The title came driving for Tim & Sheryll Lepine, in just their first year together as a team on the Tour with the Middlesex Interiors No. 79. The feat of winning a title in the first year together on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour turned heads across the industry as a newly-formed group.
McKennedy also put together a streak of 11 straight wins in ISMA Supermodified competition driving for the Lepine family team - another unheard of accomplishment in short-track racing.
McKennedy picked up the 2025 Monaco Modified championship, to go along with his title with the series in 2014. McKennedy is a former ISMA Supermodified champion, 5-time ISMA Star Classic winner, 4-time ISMA Ollie Silva Memorial winner and 4-time Modified Racing Series champion. He has multiple Star Speedway championships to his resume and a North-South Shootout win with Tommy Baldwin Racing in the Tour Modifieds (2018).
McKennedy has over 105 wins in his racing career, up and down the East Coast, all the way from Florida to Canada. He's been to Victory Lane at over 20 different race tracks from quarter-mile ovals up to those over one mile.
